I am Gautham Sreeram Dasu. I completed my Master of Technology in Computer Science from DMACS @ SSSIHL, Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi. I love to build things be it computer programs or music with my available skills and resources. I'm very much interested in learning latest technologies and skills every day which makes me solve real world problems, make me think and challange me. My interests lies in Algorithms and Datastructures, Software Engineering, Image processing, Distributed and Cloud computing .
I'm also interested in photography, music and basketball. I'm part of a traditional band and I play Tenor Saxophone in the band. I love to code pet Projects, write blogs in free time and edit photos.
Completed my Masters in Computer Science from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi. The course is a two year course with a research oriented project in the second year of the course and the course focusing on the subjects of Algorithms, Computer Architecture, Distributed and Cloud Computing and Digital Image Processing.
As part of the course a project on "Automatic detection and Exraction of Information from scanned documents" was carried in the second year of the course. In the project the focus was on providing computer oriented solution for automatic information extraction from scanned documents and update to a database for acclerating the performance of the form processor using iamge processin and deep learning techniques. The scanned documents included Identity documents like PAN and Aadhar cards and Tables from the scanned documents.
Completed my Masters in Mathematics with specialization in computer science in 2018. The course is a two year course and in the second year, dissertation was to be done. As part of the course a dissertation was carried on watermarking of medical images titled "A Comparative Study of Watermarking Techniques for Medical Images". In which different water marking techniques related to medical images was explored and experimented. In this work, implemented reversible watermarking techniques for medical images using Difference Expansion and Bit Substitution methods. Generated a feature vector from the image and used it as a watermark for finer tamper detections in the image. The course focused on topics like Linear Algebra, Data Mining, Computer Networks, Computer Architecutre, Databases, Functional Analysis.
Completed my Under Graduation course, B.Sc (Hons.) at SSSIHL, Brindavan campus with Mathematics as major. The course is a three year course and the first two year the subjects consisted of Maths, Physics and Chemistry and the final year a major from the three was(Maths) to be choosen. In the third year of the course, a Mini text editor in c language was done as mini project. The project focused on the concepts of c programing language and data structures in c. Other courses included Programming in c, Algorithms and Data structures, Introduction to computer architecture, Graph theory, Toplogy to name a few.
Completed my schooling in Nirmala Convent, Vijayawada and my Intermediate in Sri Chaitanya Junior Colloege, Vijayawada.
In the course had the following subjects related to Computer Science i.e Algorithms and Datastructures, Architecture, Digital Image Processing, Data Mining, Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, Parallel Programming, High Performance Computing and their respective labs.
The main objective of the project is to deal with the problems related to
  1. Detection, extraction and updation of information from scanned identity documents.
  2. Detection, extraction and updation of tables present in scanned documents.
In the course had the following subjects related to computer science and mathematics. As part of the dissertation worked in the field of Watermarking of Medical Images. Worked on building an Automatic Voice Announcement System which is deployed in a Super Specialty Hospital.
The main objective of the project is perform a comparative study of watermarking techniques available for medical image watermarking. As part of the dissertation performed the following experiments:
  1. Implemented reversible watermarking techniques for medical images using Difference Expansion and Bit Substitution methods.
  2. A comparative study of frequency domain based techniques and reversible techniques was also performed.
  1. Implemented text editor with features of password protected user interface and tab key press word suggestion.
  2. Functionalities like searching, insertion, deletion of words in the editors dictionary were also implemented.
